Ashley S. Holland is an Associate Professor in the Psychology Department at Edgewood College. Before she joined Edgewood College in 2010, she received her Ph.D in Developmental Psychology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and also completed a post-doctoral fellowship through the Department of Human and Community Development at the University. Dr. Holland routinely teaches Introduction to General Psychology (Psy 101), Careers in Psychology (Psy 285), Child Development (Psy 210), Adolescent Development (Psy 220), Lifespan Development (Psy 345), and the Senior Seminar, Evaluating Psychological Research (Psy 498). A native of New Glarus, Wisconsin (America’s Little Switzerland!), Dr. Holland enjoys running, reading, napping, and finding fun ways to incorporate Harry Potter and her other favorite movies and TV shows into her coursework to demonstrate that Psychology and the concepts of development are all around us!
